Our Commitment

Growth Lab Games is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe that interactive games and live commerce tools should be available and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of ability. We are continually improving the user experience for all users and applying relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more user-friendly for everyone.

Our current status: Partially conformant — we are actively working toward full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. Some content may not yet fully conform as we continue development.

Accessibility Features

Growth Lab Games includes the following accessibility features:

• Reduced Motion Support: All animations (including the Prize Wheel spin and confetti effects) respect the user's system-level "prefers-reduced-motion" setting. Users who have enabled reduced motion will see instant results instead of animated transitions.
• Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements — buttons, forms, links, and game controls — are fully accessible via keyboard. The Prize Wheel can be spun using the Space bar.
• Screen Reader Support: We use semantic HTML, ARIA labels, ARIA live regions, and ARIA roles throughout the platform. Game outcomes are announced to screen readers via live regions.
• Focus Management: Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements. Focus is managed appropriately when modals and overlays appear.
• Color Contrast: We aim for a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Alternative Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as presentational.
• Skip Navigation: A "Skip to main content" link is provided on all pages for keyboard and screen reader users.
• Responsive Design: The platform is fully responsive and works on all screen sizes, including mobile devices and tablets.
• Form Labels: All form inputs have associated labels. Error messages are descriptive and linked to the relevant field.
• Language: The page language is declared in the HTML to support screen readers and translation tools.

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas that are still being improved:

• The Prize Wheel canvas element provides a text alternative but may not convey all visual information to screen reader users. We are working on an enhanced text-based alternative view.
• Some third-party embedded content may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• Live game interactions may present timing challenges for users who require more time to respond.

Technical Specifications

Growth Lab Games relies on the following technologies for conformance with WCAG 2.1:

• HTML5
• CSS3 (including media queries for prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme)
• JavaScript / TypeScript (React / Next.js)
• WAI-ARIA 1.2

Assessment Approach

Growth Lab Games assesses the accessibility of this platform through:

• Self-evaluation during development
• Testing with keyboard-only navigation
• Testing with screen readers (VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, NVDA on Windows)
• Automated accessibility scanning tools
• User feedback
